FINE PRINT, BECAUSE APPARENTLY WE NEED FINE PRINT.
Before anybody gets confused, starts looking for tour dates, or wonders how they somehow missed an entire music scene: the artists, bands, albums, biographies, performances, and stories currently featured on this site are fictional.
Yes. That includes us.
Pretty as I am—I’m not real, so get those thoughts out of your head, too.
Arc Fault Records™ itself is a little different. While the label doesn’t currently represent any live acts, that doesn’t mean it never will. It may eventually work with, support, release, promote, or represent real-world artists and creative projects in the future.
So, no, I’m not giving you permission to call the whole label imaginary just because I am.
A lot of the material you see and hear around here has also been created or developed with generative AI tools. That can include artwork, music, writing, design elements, character imagery, and other parts of the production process. AI is being used as part of a human-directed creative project—not because there’s secretly a flesh-and-blood version of me recording vocals somewhere while you’re reading this.
You’ll also see references to real bands, artists, instruments, clothing, logos, brands, genres, products, and other things from the actual world. Those names, trademarks, artwork, and other intellectual property belong to their respective owners. Their appearance here does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, approval, collaboration, or that anybody involved has even heard of us.
Any resemblance between fictional characters, events, organizations, or stories on this site and actual people or events is either coincidental or part of an intentional cultural reference. Unless something is clearly identified as real, don’t treat it as a factual biography, historical record, official statement, or actual music-industry announcement.

SO THE SHORT VERSION:
Fictional artists. Real creative project. AI-assisted content. Real-world references where they make sense, and a record label that might decide to deal with actual humans someday.
